Castro Destoyer is also known as Theophilius Tagoe. He has been referred to as Ghana's 50 Cent. A Takoradi native, the 'Sa kwa ba' man can rap in Twi, Ga and Fante. His ability to sing, rap, dance and ability to perform with a live band has endeared him to the hearts of many music fans. He started the Two Prominent Men (2PM) project with fellow T'adi boy, Skido. He was pushed into music by VIP after they discovered him performing at an event. His debut hit, Sradenam (a re-mix of George Jahraa's original song) was featured on Jay Q's 2003 compilation courtesy of Q-Lex Entertainment. He also formed Cashface (The Killer Squad) with Screwface and Shilo from the Jay Q (bottle breaker) camp and had a successful album with songs like 419, So far so good, Na wao, and Mekaekae. He released an unprecedented gospel album in 2008, followed by his own album which featured the hit, Dee meye no. It includes the song Concentrate featuring Asamoah Djan (Djaga) of Black Stars and Praye. He also released African girls featuring Asamoah Gyan aka Baby Jet, a Ghanaian football star.
