The GUBA Award-winning Afropop duo FOKN Bois, popularly known for their hit single ‘thank God we are not a Nigerians’, together with the world’s first Pidgen Musical movie "Coz Ov Moni" is back with another musical concert dubbed ‘BIG IN GHANA TALENT HUNT & TOUR’ which starts from the 24 – 1st of September 2012.
The talent hunt and tour is a charity concert geared towards fostering Peace in the upcoming election and also help undiscovered music talent find their biggest break in their careers.
Big in Ghana talent hunt is giving opportunity to Bands and artists to audition this August to join the FOKN bois alongside Yaa Pono and Efya during the GIMME PINCH tour. The boys gave the Music dropping points for the auditions as Takoradi on the 4th of August, Tema on the 5th of August, and Kumasi on the 11th of August and Accra is on the 12th of August.
The two, Mensa and Wanluv who have already taken Hip life to the final frontier sharing stages around the world with Snoop Dogg, Sway, Femi Kuti, Little Brother, Irie Maffia and The Gorilla are very optimistic that at the end of the tour, Ghana will be more than united and ready for the upcoming election.
FOKN Bois disclosed: ‘talent hunts in the country has never being this good as amazing prize packages awaits the winner. Packages such as Going on tour with FOKN Bois, over 20,000 ghc worth of prizes, including a cash prize of 3,000 ghc, a recording deal, professional video, management and promotion; this is what talented musicians in Ghana will compete for this August.
Wanlov the Kubolor of FOKN Bois added his voice: “With the elections coming up we want to spread the message of peace and hope hence as we tour these four cities in the country kind courtesy Bavaria alcohol drink, we will also let Ghana decide which of the underexposed talents in music should achieve their dreams.
Throwing more light on the tour the FOKN Bois said after being interviewed on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1XTRA and BBC World Service, and also having been featured in prestigious zines such as Arise, FAB & Canoe, their experience in the music world comes in handy at this point where new artiste pop up day in, day out jumping from studio to another studio.
We want the country to be peaceful so that our selected winner can show the country and the world at large what they being hiding all these while. We are often compared to duos like Outkast, Red & Meth and LMFAO, but we want our talent soon to be discovered to be have such and even more across the world after this tour.

In their final words, the FOKN bois noted that, pinch a friend if they think they are dreaming because this is reality, your desire to be the biggest artiste in Ghana has arrived but their word of caution to all talents who want to audition was: ‘NO MIMING’ get ready to perform with a live band.

Bands and artists audition at music dropping points in Takoradi, Tema, Kumasi and Accra. A music panel will select two artists/bands from each city that will audition in Accra to the FOKN Bois.
One winning artist/band from each city will join FOKN Bois, EFYA & Yaa Pono on their FREE 4-city tour performing live to crowds of over 8,000 per city.
From the 3rd until the 9th of September Ghana gets to vote for their favorite artist or band via SMS. Voters instantly receive a free ringtone of their favorite band/artist.
